St
Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and Cumberland
Island make up what is known as “The Golden Isles”.
Fishing around The Golden Isles and the entire coast of Georgia
is world class. Most people don’t think of St Simons Island,
Sea Island, or Jekyll Island as a fishing destination but more
of a beach and golf destination. Well, we are here to show you
different. The Golden Isles has vast backwater bays and flats
which are home to everything from large schools of redfish to
tarpon in the summer months and if sight fishing is what makes
your heart race then you are in the right place.
Imagine stalking a large school of over 100 redfish
in water barely deep enough to cover their backs or watching tarpon
by the hundreds rolling as the sun comes up. Sound like fun? Then
you've got to come fish the waters around Georgia’s barrier
islands which offer angler’s incredible fishing
year round as well as the quiet atmosphere of island life.
Come Join Captain Scott Owens and climb aboard a new Waterman
flats skiff by Gordon Boat Works and experience
some of Georgia’s premier shallow water
sight fishing. Or a spacious 24 foot Pathfinder for near shore
and inshore light tackle action. Fishing in St. Simons Island,
Jekyll Island, and Sea Island is awesome and together with world
class resorts, beautiful beaches, great bed and breakfasts, and
wonderful restaurants we are sure you will make this a vacation
spot to return to.
Fishing the entire coast of Georgia and North Florida, Captain
Scott would gladly meet you at your vacation destination. Please
feel free to call with any questions about lodging, restaurants,
