Seeing double as fishing heats up with rising water tempatures
Fishing has really been on fire and early morning topwater poppers have been taking a lot of trout and even some redfish. As the sun starts to rise the trout seem to vanish and the redfish start to show themselves along with some monster black drum. Now that the crabs are out and the shrimp are starting to show up everywhere the fish are really tailing hard at low water. We have had a lot of rain and the rivers are almost gold and the fish are really copper in color. We took 2 bul redfish 1 about 25 pounds and the other 18 on the beach last monday so after my trip I ran the beach looking for pods of fish. The menhaden pods are up and down the beach and pelicans are diving every where. Summer is just around the corner.
